Partial synthesis of antibiotic by esterification as antibacterial agent

-Penicillins such as (Amoxicillin, Ampicillin and cloxacillin) were reacted with alcohols in acidic media to produced pencillin esters.

The reactions by followed thin layer chromatography and identified by solubility and the infra-red spectroscopy.

Finally the products pencillin esters were tested against bacteria.
