The muscular dystrophy society of Mumbai was founded in 1973 with the aim to help people with muscular dystrophy and has tried to grapple with the local issues of rehabilitation of muscular dystrophies, changing its approach over the years.

This article will deal with various aspect of muscular dystrophy rehabilitation in the Mumbai region.
