This article trier to show the social aspect, which caracterises "Dewey’s" philosophy.

For this reason, I choose the education as a real example, so as, I set off this social tendency (aptitude), which "Dewey"wanted to invest, in ordre to link his philosophical ideas to the social reality, basing on these three elements: - Education in the social environment.

- School as a social institution.

- Education and the social practice.

The objectif of this article is to emphasis on the fonction of philosophy inside the society according to Dewey’s pragmatist view which means a method to guide people and help them to overcome the problems and difficulties
