This article presents a work of optimization of a schematic network of urban transportation.

The study is based on some data on the bus lines of the region of Rabat Sale Zemmour Zaer and on a survey about the urban transportation of the area.

We started with delimiting the region of study, and then we determined a design of the network of the studied area.

Then, study the demand of trips between each origin and destination and we estimated the related matrix for the urban public system of transportation of the region.

Finally, we used an algorithm of research of the shortest path and an algorithm of Tabu Search to design an optimal network of bus itineraries.
