Effect of physical parameters in measuring some poisonous and radionuclides in groundwater using iCP-OES : a case study in Southwestern Sinai, Egypt

ICP-OES calibration and the controlling of some physical parameters were found to play their role during the analyses of groundwater samples collected from 6 wells in two regions (four from Wadi Naseib and two from Wadi El Seih, southwestern Sinai, Egypt).

The study showed that the suitable RF power was in the range 1000-1100 Watt, coolant gas was in the range 18- 19 L/min and nebulizer gas pressure was in range 34-35 psi.

The level of whole measured poisonous and the radionuclides were found to be higher than the maximum permissible limits of the World Health Organization.
