الملخص الإنجليزي

The study aimed to identify the obstacles facing English female secondary teachers at Al-Qaser directorate of education.

The sample of the study was randomly selected which was consisted of (170) English language female teachers, (150) questionnaires were returned.

The tool for the study was a questionnaire consisted of (29) items of five domains.

The results of the study showed that there are many academic challenges and obstacles faced by English female teachers in secondary schools at Alqaser directorate, including student domain, community and parent domain, teacher skills domain, curriculum domain and school environment domain, the study results also showed that, there are statistically significant differences at (a≤ 0.05) in the challenges and obstacles faced by English language female teachers in secondary school at Alqaser directorate of education due to experience variable.

In light of the study results, a set of recommendations were suggested, including: the need to adopt more effective strategy to improve the school environment and to ensure the suitability of the psychological situation of English female teachers.
