الملخص الإنجليزي

The study aimed to investigate the effect of classroom emotional climate in developing 10th grade English language students` writing in Thiban.

The sample of the study consisted of (50) female students distributed into two groups: the control group consisted of (25) students; and the experimental group of (25) students, which were randomly selected.

The instrument of the study was a writing test.

The results of the study showed that there were statistical significant differences at(a≤ 0.05) in favor of the experimental group, where students were taught in an emotional climate.

The improvement in the students` writing was discovered during the lesson because they write error free sentences.

Also, they were active, enthusiastic and productive especially when writing new ideas.

The results of the study showed that the experimental group was doing well, because they were able to answer the questions of the test.

In light of results of the study some recommendations were proposed, including: the need to assimilate classroom emotional climate in the educational process in Jordanian educational institutions, the need to hold workshops to train teachers to transform the classroom into emotional atmosphere also the need for further studies on classroom emotional climate in other classes and other subjects -
