The aim of this study is to identify Evaluating the practice of supervisors of academic departments at the University of Jeddah, to identify the obstacles to the practice of Distributed Leadership from the viewpoint of members of the educational institution,To achieve the goals of the study, the researcher used the descriptive approach, as the questionnaire was used as a tool to collect data, and the study population consisted of 1150 members of the educational institution.

Random sampling technique was used to obtain the data.

The study sample size reached (118) members which represents (10.2%) of the study population.

Main results of the study show that female members of the educational staff approved the practice of female academic supervisors at Jeddah University for Leadership Distributed with a score of (3.77 out of 5).

The working atmosphere came first among the dimensions related to the reality of female academic supervisors on distributed leadership from the viewpoint of members of the education institution.

Next, shared responsibility dimension, vision dimension, mission and goals, then leadership practices dimension, and finally professional development dimension.

All dimensions came with an acceptable degree,.

The results of the study recommended granting the necessary power to the members of the educational institutions to practice leadership roles, providing leaders with financial and non-financial incentives to improve leadership roles within the department
