The study aims to find out the extent to which one of the indirect modern teaching methods, represented in the guided discovery method in physical education and sports, contributes to the acquisition of emotional and social sensitivity of middle school students through the physical education and sports class, from the viewpoint of intermediate education teachers, a field study of the municipality of Hammam dalaa, the state of M'sila, and the researcher relied on a questionnaire form to collect information, whose phrases were borrowed from Ronald Reggio's social skills test, which consists of 06 dimensions divided into two parts: a part for the emotional level and the other for the social level.

Social sensitivity, and due to the nature of the subject, the researcher adopted the descriptive and analytical method that is compatible with the nature of the topic, and the study was applied to a sample of 13 professors, and the results were reached that the use of the directed discovery method in the physical education and sports lesson contributes to a large extent to the student's acquisition of the two skills of emotional sensitivity And the social sensitivity of the pupils of the stage Average.
