Abstract EN

The Reception Theory is one of the Western theories that have been concerned with the text and the reader, and has given it a full attention to the interpretation of the text in all its forms, and gave it a different interest in terms of what it excites from the meanings of the theory through the reader or the receiver that is the basis of the process.

Hence, the school of Kostons, which has evolved into an aesthetic theory that works to monitor the beauty of literary works through what Wolfgang Ezer called the reader or recipient to whom the text will be broadcast.

Hence, a strong relationship between the text and the reader arises based on a set of data available at Reader and standards developed by the pioneers of the theory.

The Arab heritage was full of literary works, including poetry and prose, and my vision through this research is to trace the features of Western theory in pre-Islamic poetry and search for the matches of this theory in the Arab heritage, via this presentation raises the problem of the present research: how can be embodied the parameters of the Reception Theroy in the pre-Islamic poetry? And what are the similarities between it and the pre-Islamic poetry?
