تصميم منصة تعليمية (Edmodo)‎ لتدريس مادة اللغة العربية و قياس أثرها في التحصيل الدراسي و في تنمية مهارات التفكير المحورية لدى طلبة الصف الثالث الأساسي في الأردن

Abstract EN

The study aimed to design an educational platform (Edmodo) to teach Arabic subject and measure its impact on academic achievement and development of core thinking skills among 3rd basic grade students in Jordan.

The researcher adopted the quasi-experimental design.

The study sample consisted of (37) students from Assad Ibn Alf rat School of Liwa Markka Educational Directorate in Amman for 2019/2020 academic year.

The study sample was divided randomly into two groups experimental and control groups.

The students in the experimental group consist of (18) students taught through (Edmodo) according to the flipped learning Strategy, the students in the control group consists of the (19) students were taught in the traditional way.

In order to achieve the objectives of the study, an achievement test was developed to measure the academic instructional level as well as a test to measure core thinking skills.

The validity and the reliability for the tests has been verified and proven.

The results of the study indicated that there were statistical differences in the academic achievement and the core thinking skills between the two groups attributed to the experimental group.

The study recommends adopting the platform (Edmodo) in teaching the Arabic subjects, and implementing more experimental studies on its use in other educational materials, also developing the ability of teachers to effectively employ educational platform in educational process through continuous and intensive courses.
