This research paper seeks to define each of the teaching methods adopted in the Algerian school, and from the transition from teaching with goals to teaching with competencies, and to discover the reforms and transformations taking place in the educational system, as this research aims to describe these approaches and strategies, which seek to facilitate the educational process, By showing its theoretical backgrounds and the principles on which it was based, while monitoring the most important criticisms and trying to find solutions.
