Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the degree of practicing reciprical leadership by principals of secondary schools in Jarash governorate and its relationship with organizational creativity as perceived by teachers.

the study used the descriptive relational survey method.

the researcher prepared & developed a questionnaire consisted of two parts: the first to measure the degree of practicing transactional leadership, it included (23) items, the second part to measure the organizational creativity, it included (21) items, validity and reliability coefficient were ensured for the tool.

the sample of study is consisted of (274) teachers in secondary schools at Jarash governorate.

the findings of the study were: the degree of practicing reciprical leadership by principals came (medium).

the domain of evaluation of principal’s performance came as first and domain of occupational development came as last.

the level of organizational creativity by principals came (medium).

the domain of problems solution came as first and domain of organizational correctness came as last.

there is a statistical significant positive relationship between all the domains of (degree of practicing transactional leadership), and between all the domains of (level of organizational creativity).

according to the study findings, the researcher recommends: holding seminars, lectures and training programs for school principals and those working in educational institutions to explain for them the foundations of transactional leadership and organizational creativity, and how to implement them.
