Abstract EN

The research aimed to identify the level of activation of critical thinking skills in teaching among secondary school science teachers in the city of Dawadmi, and to identify the level of activation of critical and creative thinking skills in teaching among secondary school science teachers in the city of Dawadmi.

the researcher adopted the descriptive survey approach, and the study was conducted on all secondary school science teachers in Dawadmi city.

the study tool was a questionnaire.

the questionnaire was distributed electronically to (45) teachers.

those who responded to the questionnaire reached (44) teachers, and the most important results were : that the level of activation of critical thinking skills in teaching among secondary school science teachers in the city of Dawadmi is at a high level, and that the level of activation of creative thinking skills in teaching among secondary school science teachers in the city of Dawadmi is at a degree medium.

the most important recommendations were : holding training courses for science teachers dealing with methods, methods and strategies for developing creative thinking skills.

and developing science curricula based on critical and creative thinking skills.

emphasizing the actual practices of critical thinking and creative thinking skills in the classroom, and working to measure these practices through approved standards.
