Abstract EN

The present study aims at identifying the reality of education on tolerance among the Palestinian factions from the viewpoint of students of universities males and females affiliated to these factions in the Gaza Strip.

The study tool was applied on a sample of 378 students at Al-Aqsa University in Gaza Strip for the academic year of 2014/2015.

The results revealed that the Education of tolerance for the Palestinian factions is average in general.

The results indicated that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance of 0.05 due to the impact of the variable of study specialization.

Results also refer to the presence of statistically significant differences depending on the variable of gender which have been in favor of males.

The results also pointed to the existence of differences between the Fatah movement and the Islamic trend in favor of the Islamic movement, between Fatah and independents in favor of Fatah, and between the Islamic movement and the Palestinian left in favor of the Islamic movement, and between the Islamic movement and independents in favor of the Islamic movement, and between the Palestinian left and independents for the benefit of the Palestinian left .In the light of the findings, the researcher recommends the need of working to achieve internal reconciliation among the Palestinian factions and work to spread the culture of tolerance among individuals affiliated to the Palestinian factions in order to strengthen the case of societal peace.
