The study aimed to investigate to what extent do Jordanian social studies textbooks consider the principles of human rights through content analysis.

The study presented a suggested a model of human rights to be included in the Jordanian social studies curricula in Jordan.

integration and sequences in the principles of human rights on social studies textbooks in 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 10th graders were calculated.

findings of the study showed that consideration of human rights in social studies textbooks was low.
