Abstract EN

The main goal of this study is to detect the effectiveness of self-education using iPad.

In Al-Hasa, Saudi Arabia iPad was used to enhance the language skills for third grade students with intellectual disability.

In order to achieve this goal, the researcher divided the students into two groups, which are consisted of 10 students.

One group was given iPad for the study, and the second group were given traditional study.

During the study, of course, we made sure that the 10 students were interacted.The Adaptive Behavior Scale (Linguistic Skills) in Saudi Arabia was used by Al-Otaibi (2012) in this study side by side with (ABJAD) program through the Ipad.

As results first, there were differences in language skills among the experimental group members before and after the application in favor for the post-application .Second, between the members of the experimental and control groups after application for the benefit of the experimental group.

Finally there were absence of differences between the members of the experimental group between the post-measurement and follow-up.

In conclusion the study came out with some recommendations, including of adoption the program of language skills in teaching students with intellectual disabilities.
