The study aimed to identify the role of the Jordanian government high schools in enhancing the social responsibility of the students from the point of view of their parents and the obstacles facing the Jordanian government high schools to play their role in enhancing the social responsibility of their students and the relationship with some variables.
To achieve the objectives of the study, the use of the descriptive approach was developed and a tool was developed to achieve its objectives- The study sample consisted of (150) parents of secondary school students who were selected by the cluster method at the Directorate of Education in the fourth Amman government after reaching the students in their schools and distributing the tool to them to give to their parents- The results of the study showed that the sample of the study of the reality of the role of secondary schools in the development of social responsibility among students in Jordan came to a medium degree, and there are statistically significant differences in the sample estimation of the role of secondary schools in the development of social responsibility according to the variable of the scientific qualification of the guardian.
Have a postgraduate qualification and change the economic situation and for the benefit of their salaries less than 700-In the light of the results, the study recommended several recommendations, including the establishment of an integrated system, to develop concepts related to social responsibility among parents in which all institutions of socialization participate.
