Abstract EN

This study aimed at investigating the practicing degree of the second basic episode teacher’s in Jordan educational directorate to real evaluation strategies and tools in light of recent trends, and to identify the differences in practice degree, depending on gender and educational directorate variables.

The study sample consisted of (140) teachers, which chosen by stratified random sampling from the study population, aquestionnaire was developed to achieve the study objectives, which consists of (32) items distributed on six domains: performancebased evaluation strategy, communication based evaluation strategy, observation based evaluation strategy,evaluation strategy based on self review,strategy evaluation based on the pen and paper, and evaluation tools.

Results of the study showed that the degree of teachers practicing real evaluation and toolswas moderatelevel with mean(3.30).

At the domains level, the observationbased evaluation strategy and strategyevaluation based on the pen and paper, achieved on the highly practice level.
