Abstract EN

Objectives of the study: Studying the extent to which self-advocacy contributes to predicting self-determination for high school students, and examining the differences between self-advocacy and self-determination according to demographic variables.

Methodology and procedures: The sample of the study included 90 students (n = 80, 51males, 51 females) and the ages ranged from 27-18 years.

The results of the study: There were statistically significant differences between high and low advocacy in selfdetermination.

These differences were in the high-level trend on the advocacy scale (m = 86.77) versus the low self-advocacy value (M = 81.92).

There are significant differences in the self-determination towards the students of the scientific section and there are no differences between students of the scientific and literary section in self-advocacy, selfdetermination and self-advocacy.
