The study of translation assessment of Qur'anic one word expressions into English

The translation of meaning of the Glorious Qur'an is the most unique process that requires meticulous choices of words and style because of its divine authorship.

The Qur'anic one word expression is one of distinguished features of the Glorious Qur'an because it embraces one meaningful sentence although it is one word.

The current paper is about assessing the translations of the Qur'anic one word expressions into English.

It is hypothesized that most of Qur'anic translators are likely to render the Qur'anic one word expressions into English adequately.

To verify the above-mentioned hypothesis three Qur'anic one word expressions were chosen, seven available translations of the Glorious Qur'an were selected, a Qur'anic commentary was chosen and a model for assessment of the translations of the Glorious Qur'an was designed.

It was verified that the most of the Qur'anic translators whose translations were selected are likely to translate the Qur'anic one word expressions into English clearly.
