This article aims to highlight the crucial role of the social status of the family, in determining the educational model adopted by parents in the process of socializing their children as it attempts to explain how socio-cultural factors affect the social structuring of the family and how it determines the values, principles and ideals that underlie the prevailing educational model within the family.

However, particular emphasis will be put on the one hand, on the educational model which develops the autonomy of individuals in adulthood and on that which, on the contrary tends to reinforce their dependence and on the other hand on the social status to which they are associated
