The study aims to identify the importance of emotional intelligence in educational life through the various educational attitudes that the special education teacher lives with his pupils with special needs, as well as to identify the differences between special education teachers according to the variable of sex in emotional intelligence, as well as differences in social competence and management of pressures and adaptation as dimensions of the scale, where we adopted the descriptive exploratory analytical descriptive method as a method of study and emotional testing of Bar-On as a measure of data collection, and after the statistical treatment of hypotheses using appropriate statistical methods.

The following results were reached: - There are no statistically significant differences between special education teachers due to the gender variable in social competence.

- There are statistically significant differences in the management of gender pressures in favour of males.

- There are no statistically significant differences in the after-sex adjustment
