The research aims to identify the Effect of 4Rs Strategy and traditional method in acquiring historical concepts and highly cognition ranks for second grade intermediate students.
The experimental design was used with partial control for the experimental group and control group and post-test.
The researcher randomly chose section (A) to represent the experimental group which studies according to the 4Rs strategy and section (B) to represent the control group which studies according to the traditional method.
The total amount of the sample was (60 students) about (30 students) in each section.
The two groups were equaled in the following variables: intelligence and previous knowledge.
The researcher prepared the research tools representing acquiring historical concept tests and highly cognition rank test.
The researcher used (T-Test) for two independent samples for treating the data.
The results showed that the experimental group in acquiring historical concepts and highly intelligence rank was superior to the control group.
