The present study aims to shed light on one of the most important contributions of Peter NEWMARK in the field of Translation: Theory and Practice.

We mean Semantic and Communicative Translation methods that represent long years of experience of this scholar in Translation area in general and practical Translation particularly, enriching the list of Translation Procedures that can assist the translator in his continual work of going between languages, in order to propose the appropriate way to approach as much texts as possible.
