Abstract EN

This studyaims to show the strategy of the narrator in the Algerian novel ; bearing in mindthat the modern Algerian narration started to takesteadystepstowardsachieving the ranks of the Arab narrative.

Recent writings emerged in the Algerian literary scene, which showed the genius of their owners, such as Azzedine Djalaoudji, by controlling narration techniques, including the narrator who knew a lot of debates about his idiomatic structure in critical studies as well as the divergent methods of the authors that control this technique.

Hence, we find that the the writer limited himself to only one type or genre in his novel "Butterflies and Ogres" by relying on the accompanying vision characteristic that captured the entire text.

So, what is the role of this strategy in the novel ?and what does it add to this novelist ?.
