Abstract EN

Reading skill is considered to be a key pillar in teaching Arabic to other speakers.

It is also the main centre where many educational programs for foreign languages around the world in general and in Turkey in particular depend on.

This study seeks to introduce the most important reading skill education strategies that should be considered in teaching the Arabic language to other Turkish students.

Furthermore, the importance of these strategies in learning and teaching the second language was highlighted by the teachers of the Arabic language in Republic of Turkey by shedding the light on the importance of reading strategies and their effectiveness in increasing readability and remedying many of students' reading deficiencies.

It should be noted that this study does not offer all learning strategies, but it will be only restricted to the reading skill of Turkish students.

Moreover, the researcher relies on the inductive descriptive approach where he started to deduce the reading skill and educational strategies employing his experience in this context and the personal interviews that he held with a number of experienced professors and specialists in the field of Arabic language education for Turkish students.
