English Abstract
The study aims at identifying the degree of transparency in administrative decision-making and its obstacles from teachers' point of view.
The study community is composed of all teachers in the Directorate of Education in Jerash for the (2018/2019) school year.
A random sample of (304) was selected.
In order to achieve the study objectives, a questionnaire which validity and stability was verified was used.
The study found that the degree of practicing transparency in administrative decision-making and its constraints among the principals of the government secondary schools in the Directorate of Education in Jerash from the point of view of teachers came medium.The results of the study indicated that there is a statistically significant correlation between the degree of transparency in administrative decision making and the degree of its obstacles among the principals of the government secondary schools in the Directorate of Education and Jerash to the absence of statistically significant differences in the study sample in their estimation of the degree of transparency in administrative decision making.
Attributed to sex variable and years of experience, and the existence of differences of statistical significance attributable to the variable of educational qualification Higher than bachelor.
It also showed the absence of statistically significant differences in the study sample in their assessment of the degree of obstacles to the exercise of transparency in administrative decision-making due to gender variable, years of experience and educational qualification.
The study recommended several recommendations, most notably the Creating an organizational climate that encourages managers to use transparency as an effective method in making administrative decisions based on the organizational objectives of the Ministry of Education.
