The present study aimed at analyzing the content of the textbook "English for Iraq 3rd Intermediate" for finding out the two indexes: Implication and Balance Distribution of the four language skills i.
e.
, (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
For this purpose, a checklist was designed by the researcher.
The (409) units analysis were derived from the four skills as behaviour to the items of the checklist.
Face validity and reliability were ascertained.
The results indicated that there were not equal implication and balance distribution of the four language skills behaviour in the textbook units and lessons.
