Abstract EN

The research aims to identify "the effect of the Roberts model on the achievement of chemistry among fifth-grade / biological students and their mental motivation towards it." The community included students of the fifth / scientific-biological class in middle schools affiliated to the General Directorate of Education in Baghdad, Al-Rusafa / 3.

the scientific subject was determined in the last four semesters of the chemistry book for the class to be taught during the second semester of the academic year (2018- 2019) Also, the behavioral goals numbering (218) were formulated as a behavioral goal.

As for research tools, the achievement test was (50) test items of multiple choice type and the second mental motivation tool, as the researcher adopted a measure that I prepared (Al-Faraji, 2011) consisting of 4 Areas and 60 items.

The results of the experiment showed excellence in the achievement test and mental motivation of the experimental group.

In light of this, the researcher developed a number of recommendations and suggestions related to the results of the research
