Abstract EN

The research has aimed to adopt Criteria’s for Quality Assurance of education in Laboratories from the point view of Faculty members at the Electrical Engineering Technical College one of formation of Middle Technical University.

To achieve the aims of the study, A questionnaire has been prepared containing 78 criteria to quality assurance education in the laboratory derived from previous studies in the field, In addition of observation of researcher.

After analyzing the responses of the sample members on the degree of their acceptance of the criteria’s by the five-point scale ( Very importuned, important, Average important, limited importance, not importance ), 13 criteria have been deleted because they had rejected or had low acceptance score and 65 criteria were passed because obtain a degree of acceptance ( very high , high , medium ).

The adopted criteria are divided into five main axis (laboratory environment, laboratory management, laboratory education program, quality assurance policy).

The study reached a number of conclusions divided into two parts the first includes the conclusions of the analysis of the questionnaire and the other general conclusions about the subject of the research.

And ended up with five recommendation to promote the work of the proposed internal accreditation system as an initial step to apply for external accreditation.
