Abstract EN

The study aimed to know the differences in the patterns of attribution of failure and academic success among high-achieving and late students in secondary education.

And the patterns most attributed to success and failure among the members of the sample to be studied.

The sample of the study consisted of 857 students: 421 outstanding students, 437 late students, in the Bejaia Secondary Schools.

The results of the study showed that there were no differences in the attribution patterns of success among the students who were excelling in terms of their gender and their specialization, and there were differences in the patterns of attribution of failure for the students who were late in the study according to their gender and specialization.
