Deictic expressions can affect the literary translation.
They represent a way of persuading readers to imagine a fictional world when reading a literary work in both source text and target one.
Yet, the literature lacks a conceptual framework that correlates the use of deixis and their translation, especially in relation to the literary works.
Hence, this paper attempts to build a conceptual framework correlating deixis and their translation in literary works, especially in relation to poetic translation.
It is suggested that deixis can be a considerable issue in conducting the accurate poetic translation.
This can be achieved by developing a model that considers deixis in poetic translation.
Therefore, the study built a framework that can be used to translate the deictic expressions used in literary works, e.
