Abstract EN

This study aims to know the skills degree of linguistic communicationthat the Arabic language and Islamic education teachers have in the intermediate stage in Iraq.

The sample of the study consisted of (95) where 45 male teachers and 50 female teachers who work for the Representation of the Iraqi Ministry of Education in Kurdistan Region.

To apply the study, the two researchers have prepared the study tool which is a questionnaire in the linguistic skills distributed among four scopes which formed 40 items.

The results show that the capability of the sample (Displaced Arabic Language and Islamic Education) teachersto use the linguistic communication skills was medium.

The first skill wasthe speaking, with the average (3.20).

Then, secondly came, the writing skill at the rate of (3.18).

Thirdly,the readingskill was in the sense of (3.14).

Finally,the listening skill was at a rate of (2.94).

The differences in language skills were in favor of females.Besides, the differences in the qualification were also in favor of postgraduate studies.Furthermore, the differences were also to the Teaching experience for ((10 years or more, and lastly the differences in favor of the teacher specialized in Arabic language.

Therefore, the study led to several recommendations and suggestions.
