Research and teaching have been linked together now.
The main purpose of this research was to determine the role of Research/ Teach nexus in developing active reading and students' engagement, Three statistical hypotheses were set to guide This research.
The study adopted the one group research design to test the research hypotheses.
The participants of this study consisted of 60 students.
They were chosen randomly among second year, English majors, basic education section at The Faculty of Education.
Beni Suef University.
The results revealed That Research/Teaching nexus had an impact on enhancing students' active reading as well as their engagement after experimentation.
