Abstract EN

The objective of the current research is to identify the effectiveness of a proposed program based on self-organized learning to develop language skills for academic writing among postgraduate students at the Faculty of Education, Taif University.

The research sample consisted of (25) MA students.

The study tool was academic writing skills test applied at the beginning of the second semester of the academic year 1437-1438 AH.

Using the semi-experimental approach and the design of a single group and using the T-test for one group and paired groups.

The results showed that the level of students in the master's degree in academic writing skills was average in most skills and the total score, there were also differences between the mean scores of the pre and post measurements of the experimental group in the post direction and It was also found that the proposed program had a significant impact on the development of academic writing skills.

In light of the results, a number of recommendations and proposed research were presented
