Abstract EN

In this study we examined the developmental role of education in Algeria within the framework of a view on the relationship between education and development, highlighting the role of education in the development process within the context of social and cultural life.

The study aims at exploring the developmental challenges facing Algeria in the field of education and analyzing the various aspects of the relationship between the educational system and the developmental process in its different manifestations and manifestations.

In this article we try to answer some questions, including:  What is the concept and reality of education and development in Algeria? What directions and dimensions? - Does education in Algeria play the developmental role required of it? Or is it playing a negative role in the development process? - What is the path of successive reforms that affected the educational system and the approaches adopted in each of these stages? - What are the most important obstacles that prevent education and education from playing their role in the development process? .
