برنامج علاجي مقترح قائم على تدريس الأقران للتلاميذ المتأخرين دراسيا في مادة العلوم بالمرحلة الابتدائية بمدارس اللغات و أثره في التحصيل و دافعيتهم نحو التعلم

Abstract EN

This research aimed at preparing a suggested remedial program based on peer tutoring for educational retarded pupils at the primary stage in language schools and determining its effect on their academic achievement in science at levels of (Knowledge, comprehension, and application) and motivation to learn.

To achieve that, the quasi-experimental design was used, a suggested remedial program based on peer tutoring, academic achievement test, and motivation to learn scale for 4^thgrade pupils were prepared.

These tools were applied on a sample of (32) pupils in official language schools belonged to Bandar Damanhur educational administration in Beheira Governorate; (16) pupils represent the experimental group and (16) pupils represent the control group.

Research results showed that there is a statistically significant difference in both academic achievement and motivation to learn in the post application of the experimental group.

So, these results indicated the effectiveness of the suggested remedial program based on peer tutoring on development of academic achievement and motivation to learn.
