Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of a training program based on some educational strategies (KWL - PQ4R - analogies) in treating reading comprehension difficulties among students of learning difficulties in the fifth grade.

The study was conducted on a sample of (64) pupils from the fifth grade basic At the Mohammed bin Khalifa School for Basic Education, they were divided into an experimental group consisting of (32) students, and a control group of (32) students.

The tools was applied to collect data for the study, represented in the following: Wexler test for children's intelligence and a rapid nervous screening test (to sort The results of the study resulted in improved reading comprehension among children of the experimental group in the post-measurement compared to their pre-measurement, as well as compared to the post-measurement for the children of the control group.

The statistical treatments have shown that there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the children of the experimental group on the reading comprehension test between the pre-measurement and the post-measurement in favor of the post-measurement, as well as the presence of statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the children of the experimental group and the control group on the reading comprehension test in the post-measurement In favor of the experimental group and there were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the children of the experimental group on the reading comprehension test between the post-measurement and the follow-up measurement
