Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the difficulties of teaching science curricula at the primary stage from the point of view of teachers and educational supervisors in Al-Baha region.

The study used the descriptive survey method.

The study sample consisted of (197) teachers, and (10) female educational supervisors.

The study tool was a phrase For a questionnaire consisting of two fields (teaching methods and evaluation), where it was found that the general average of the fields of the questionnaire, from the point of view of the science supervisors, in the Al-Baha region, came with a medium response degree with an arithmetic mean (2.59) and a standard deviation (0.784), and the general average of the fields of the questionnaire, From the point of view of science teachers, in the Al-Baha region, it came with a high response degree, with a mean (2.49) and a standard deviation (0.395).

The results showed that there were statistically significant differences, on the significance level (0.05) between both teachers and supervisors, in the difficulties of teaching science curricula.

In the primary stage for female teachers, and in light of these results, the researcher recommends providing an appropriate teaching environment for active learning, in science in Al-Baha region, with the participation of female students, and training female teachers to employ the latest teaching methods.
