Textbook is considered the most prominent dedactic tool in the educational learning process since it provides the bulk of knowledge to learners and provides them with a certain amount of learning.

In addition to this, the textbook is of great importance in teaching reading skill as it is the most prominent source of it.

For this reason, there are numerous studies and researches that have been concerned with clarifying the textbook's role in the didactic transmissions in the light of the plurality of the textbooks, and issues related to problems it may raise in the process of implementing systematic reading, bearing in mind the transition from the text in the textbook to a classroom practice that differs from one teacher to another, and from one school textbook to another, which may lead to difficulties hindering the acquisition of competencies, the abilities and skills targeted by the systematic reading lesson.
