This study aimed to identify The Level of Planning for Effective Succession among Educational Leaders in Amman-The Capital City- and its Relationship with Teachers Job Performance from their point of view the tow researchers used the relational descriptive approach.

researchers developed a tool that consisted of two parts the first: related to succession planning while the second dealt with job performance applied to (352) male and female teachers selected randomly The results of the study showed that the level of effective succession planning for educational leaders was average The results showed that the job performance of teachers was high.

The results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences related to the level of effective succession planning due to academic qualification variable and the years of experience variable while the results did not show statistically significant differences between these averages due to the gender variable.

It was found that there were statistically significant differences related to the level job performance due to two variables: academic qualification of a bachelors, and years of experience while the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences due to the gender variable.

In light of the results, the study recommended a number of recommendations, including training primary school principals on tasks related to succession planning, mending a legislation work related to administrative jobs so that there are administrative staff in basic schools.
