Abstract EN

This study aims at shedding light on an important period in the history of the Arabian Gulf, a period of the Bahrain-Bahrain war (1867-1868) and the British attitude from it, and identifying the causes of the war and its consequences, and explaining the position of the parties to the war, both local and regional and international, and how Britain used this war to its advantage.

This study concluded that the only winner of this war was Britain.

It was able to exploit this war in the separation of Qatar from Bahrain and impose its direct hegemony on both Bahrain and Qatar and the establishment of loyal rulers, as well as the dimensions of all the regional and international powers aspiring to dominate Bahrain, and adopted the study on primary sources, especially British documents
