Abstract EN

This paper is a study of textual integrity of Kalid Al Karaki's Years of Patience and Satisfaction.

The researcher studies the deep structure of the text, its implied features, figurative textually, and linguistic aspects which endow the text with integrity.

The paper focuses on Al Karaki's use of conjunctions, coordinators, relative pronouns and demonstratives, intertextuality, causative and interpretative relations, as well as the relationship between the title of the book and its major themes.

The researcher concludes that all these linguistic and literary tools have created the integrity of the text, its continuity and comprehensiveness.

Besides, the text is distinguished by its intertextuality as it creates bridges between its content and other texts.

Such feature has enriched the text both on the thematic and aesthetic levels.

In addition, causative and interpretative features have created a more acceptable and significantly meaningful text; they have endowed the text with logical structural bonds which have highlighted the meaning and ideas of the text
