This study examines the British measures to suppress the Great Palestinian Revolt 1936-1939 from Palestinian sources, explaining the British deliberate military actions, which included cordon operations, curfews, and calling British troops from outside Palestine.

It studies the punitive measures against the revolutionaries, which included arrest, execution and imposition of cash and in-kind fines on the people.

The study also deals with the administrative procedures of a security nature and repressive legislation.

The study concludes with a series of results that illustrate the behavior of the British occupation authorities in suppressing the Great Palestinian Revolt and the reactions of the Palestinian people that defeats the British occupation.
