Abstract EN

This study is aimed at measuring the degree of investment impact on the human capital in achieving outstanding performance among employees in the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

The study adopted the descriptive analytical approach and was applied on a stratified random sample comprising 123 respondents where 104 questionnaires were retrieved at 85% that were used for analysis through SPSS.

The study concluded that there is a positive impact with a statistical significance on the human capital in achieving outstanding performance among employees in the ministry.

The total degree of the human capital and all its components (training, knowledge, experience and skills) in the ministry was high with a mean of 3.6, at 72.1%.

The total degree of the level of performance was high with a mean of 3.53 at 70.5%.

The study recommended improving the skills and competencies of the human resources in the Ministry through setting out a training program, focusing on the quality of the training to suit the training needs of the employees, in addition to attracting those with experience and expertise to benefit from their practical experience in the field of work development and expertize exchange.

However, the study recommended the participation of employees in domestic and overseas trainings to be acquainted with the latest technical and technological updates in the administrative and health arenas.
