Abstract EN

This study aimed at investigating the effect of Conceptual Maps Strategy on Tenth Grade Female Students` Persuasive Writing Skills in the first semester of the academic year 2018/2019 in Jordan, The study adopted a semi-experimental approach.

The researchers developed an essay test to measure the performance of the students in these skills, the subjects of the study consisted of (35) female students, divided into two groups: an experimental consisted of (18) students, studied by conceptual mapping strategy, and the control consisted of (17) students studied by traditional strategy, The results of the study showed the statistically significant differences between the averages of the performance of study subjects in each skill of the Persuasive Writing Skills and as a whole, in favor of the experimental group
