Abstract EN

The purpose of the study is to investigate the effect of storytelling in oral expression skills.

To achieve this aim, the researchers developed atest to measure participants' performance and oral expression skills.

The participants of the study were (40) students selected through convent sampling; divided into intact group in the second semester of the scholastic year 2018/ 2019; One group consisted of 19 students) was assigned as the experimental group who was taught storytelling; while the other group assigned as a control group (Totaled 21 students) who studied through conventional method.

The findings of the study showed that there is a significant statistical difference in oral expression skills (expression of opinion, vocalization, Physical movements, description) Separately and as a whole; Based on the findings the study presented several recommendations regarding the importance of storytelling in improving oral expression skills
