Culture plays a significant role in education, and it tends to be integrated into multiple academic disciplines.

in fact, using cultural content in foreign language teaching is a common and fundamental strategy in today’s education.

this article sheds light on this issue and discusses the link between culture and language.

the aim of this article is to address the use of instructional cultural content in foreign language teaching and to evaluate its effectiveness as well as drawbacks.

through addressing this matter, the role of teachers in the overall educational process is emphasized.

hence, a theoretical review of the integration of cultural content into foreign language teaching is presented followed by practical considerations and strategies that educators and teachers can follow to achieve effective learning outcomes in teaching foreign languages to students.
