Abstract EN

The purpose of the study is to investigate the educational values contained in animal's verses in the holy Quran.

Due to the huge numbers of verses in such concern the analysis will be restricted on cows, calf, horses, ants, hoopoe, crow.

The researchers adopted the deductive approach through flowing and interpreting the words through Quran dictionaries and interpretation books such as Ibnkathir, Al-sadi and Al-baqhwi.

The values were extracted then studied solely and supporting them with Islamic thought books and Hadith books too.

The findings were as: The word “calf” was mentioned in ten places in the Holy Qur’an that included educational values: repentance, mercy, honoring the guest, and taking responsibility.

The word “cow” was mentioned in seven places of the Noble Qur’an, and the verses included various educational values, such as accuracy of description, teamwork, honesty, and Shura.

The word “horse” was mentioned five times, which included educational values: jihad for the sake of God, and spending.

The term raven was mentioned twice in the Noble Qur’an, and the verses included educational values such as learning from others and preserving human dignity.

 The term “ants” was mentioned three times in the Noble Qur’an, and the verse included the value of an apology.

 The Hoopoe was mentioned in one place in the Holy Quran, and included the value of volunteering and the search for knowledge.
